Softball claims District Title! 04/28/12 - Girls Softball The softball team travelled to Waxahachie on Thursday for their tiebreaker game with Rockwall HCA and came away with the district championship 5-4. The girls jumped out to a 5-1 lead with some great at bats by everyone in the lineup. Lauren Walker led the way with 2 RBI. Rockwall was able to close the gap to 5-4 in the 6th inning, but the Lady Vikings shut them down the rest of the game to hold on for the 5-4 victory. The girls start the playoffs on Tuesday at home at 5:00pm against Harvest Christian from Watauga. This should be an exciting game so make plans to attend Tuesday afternoon! |
