Softball falls short of State 05/11/12 - Girls Softball The Softball team gave it their best effort but eventually fell 9-3 to Victoria Faith in the Regional Final on Thursday. The girls were able to jump out to the early 3-0 lead, but lost the momentum in the 4th inning and could just never get it back. Parry Thompson was 2-4 with a triple and Chandler Smith was 2-4 with a double. Thanks to all of the fans for the great atmosphere and also thanks to the girls for such hard work and a great season. With no seniors on the roster, the girls have a great chance to build on this years success. |
